Last Sunday, September 24, we went to a local park to celebrate my grandson's fifth birthday. He invited several friends and family members. The party had a jungle theme. The Philadelphia Zoo sent two young women with small animals to show the children. We saw a hedgehog, a snake and several other creatures. You can see some pictures from the party here: http://www72.homepage.villanova.edu/susan.stiner/grandmapics2.htm
You can see Sean at a much younger age if you go to Page 1 of my photos.
Two hours from now, my daughter will arrive at my house. Then my husband, my daughter and I will go to Huntington West Virginia. We will drive for seven hours to visit my parents. We will stay there until Monday morning. Then we will drive back to my house. Then my daughter will return to Delaware. I am looking forward to this trip. I have not seen my parents for several months.
Monday is a holiday. It is Columbus Day. Christopher Columbus was an Italian who sailed for the king and queen of Spain. He wanted to find a quick way by sea from Europe to@Asia. Instead he discovered North America. You can learn more about Columbus here: http://sunniebunniezz.com/holiday/columbus.htm
