Thanks for your comments on the course evaluation. I will study them so the
course is better the next time.

What was Thanksgiving like?
I slept late! That is something I cannot do when I have classes.
I worked on my quilt in the morning. My quilt has 2000 (two thousand) pieces
in the top. It is my Millenium quilt.
At noon, I went to my friend Annette's house.
Annette and another friend, Nancy, were cooking the turkey and the vegetables.
I brought pumpkin pie, pecan pie, cookies and candy.
We three watched Toy Story 2 with Annette's son, Jon. Jon is 3 years old. We
all enjoyed the movie!
We ate snacks all afternoon. About 4 pm, the turkey was ready. For dinner we
ate turkey, stuffing, sweet potatoes, gravy, and green beans. They were all
delicious! An hour or two later we ate the pies and brownies.
My daughter, Kate, and her friend, Courtney, surprised us with a visit in the
evening. We shared our desserts and talked with the girls.
I went home about 7:30 pm. Then I worked on my quilt some more! It was a
great day.

Did the Thanksgiving parade have big balloons?
Yes, the annual Macy's parade had huge balloons as always. It also had
beautiful floats and many famous people riding the floats.

Did you see the balloons?

I would like to see these balloons.
I watched a little bit of the Macy's parade. I saw a few large balloons.
They are several blocks long!
I like to watch the parade on TV. It is cold in New York at this time of
year. I do not like to stand in the cold.

Taka, I am glad you enjoyed the course. I know you had to work very hard in
this course. Thank you for doing that. I hope you learned a lot.
It was a pleasure for me to talk to someone in Japan. I learned a lot from
you.
If you ever come to the US, you are welcome to visit me at my university or at
my home. I hope I see you someday! Good luck with the rest of your studies.
