Lesson13
Dear Professor Garreis,
Thank you for your reply and corrections of
my English.
I will answer your last questions.
On the way I saw some trees finally turning
into fall colors. Hooray!
Fall is my favorite season. It is cool and
it has such beautiful colors.
What is your favorite season? Why?
>My favorite season is fall.
>Autumn food is very delicious.
>I like a Japanese persimmon, a pear and
a grape.
>These fruits are tasty in the fall.
>>Do you eat the fruits raw or
cooked?
Emily spent the weekend in Delaware.
She visited friends on Friday night,
Saturday and Saturday night.
While Emily visited her friends, my daughter and I shopped. My daughter
found some nice clothes for work.
>Oh! Shopping!
>As I have not bought clothes lately, I want
to shop.
>Did you good shop?
>>I love to shop!
>>Shopping with anyone for anything
is always good.
How is your weather?
On the East Coast of the US it is hurricane
season.
Florida just had a big storm: Hurricane
Matthew.
In the mid-Atlantic states, where I live, we just had a little rain. We
were lucky.
>For the last few days it has been sunny and
partly cloudy.
>In addition, these days are cold.
>I’m no good at the cold.
>But, I like to have hot drinks, a hot pot
cooking, a stew and the like on a cold day.
>>Me, too!
I think typhoons are worse than hurricanes.
When is typhoon season?
>Yes.
>I don't like those rainy days because my
clothes are wet and I am cold.

divide the dollars and cents.
