Lesson13
Dear Ichi,
you for your message of Oct 21. My comments follow.
This is the last of three
messages from me this week.
This weekend was another busy one.
1. On Saturday I went to a wedding.
It was lovely!
My friend's daughter married a Frenchman.
We ate hard crabs. That is a Maryland specialty.
This link has pictures of Maryland crabs: http://www.crabplace.com/.
This video shows how to pick blue crabs: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kUW6_CTZd9U.
Do you eat crabs?
Do you pick them the same way?
2. On Sunday my daughter (Kate) and I walked 5 kilometers for charity.
It was the fifteenth anniversary of the death of a very good friend.
We walked with her daughter, Kim, and Kim's family.
The walk raised money for breast cancer research.
It was good to honor my friend that way.
Sincerely,
Prof. Sue Garreis
