Dear Dr. Stiner
Thank you for your reply and the corrections of my English.
I always can feel some feeling of happiness when you told some
things about your family in your messages.
that like energy has encouraged me when I had be in doubt .that make me
feel so warm.
Thanks, LaLa, for your very kind words.
Well I would like to introduce my favorite holiday.
I love holiday very much .
As you know ,In China ,we follow the old(lunar) calendar in the main
holiday like the New Year , the ZhongQiu Festival et cetera.
Also, as to birthdays, the dates are funny.
For example, if my birthday is on Oct 25 on the old calendar, in 2004 on
the solar calendar it will be Dec 6.  Sounds confusing, doesn't it?
Yes, indeed!  How do you ever keep the dates straight?  Which birthday
do you celebrate?  My kids would celebrate two!
So my birthday will be changed every year. as the New Year's day in the
solar calendar . In China ,one of my favorite holiday is called the ZhongQiu Festival . On the old (lunar) calendar, Aug. 15 is the Zhong Qiu Festival.  The
moon will be really round on that day, and we eat a traditional cake called "moon cake."  It is tasty. If you don't mind I'd like send it to you and your family.
I would love to have some of your moon cake.  But sending it to me could
be very expensive.  You don't have to do such an expensive thing.
During the Zhong Qiu Festival families sit together in a circle and chat
happily. Everyone in the family must be together on that day.  If somebody works in another city, he or she should go home to be with their family.
Do you get to go home in August for Zhong Qiu or do you have to stay in
Japan?
In Japan, my favorite holiday is the Bon Festival, on the 15th of July
on the lunar calendar.  They have many song-and-dance festivals.
Japanese follow the solar calendar for the main holidays like New Year's
Day and birthdays, so their birthdays are always on the same day every
year. It is simple.
In the song-and-dance festivals season, we put on an informal cotton
kimono(for summer wear) called "yukata",  enjoy the display of fireworks. eat "yakisoba" that fry noodles, various ice cream and chocolate banana .
The summer festivals, especially O-Bon, sound like such fun.
I am so sorry about the CPA of ERNST&YOUNG SHINNINHON 's English URL ,
that is too simple.
Don't worry about it, LaLa.  I am surprised that so many Japanese
companies have English pages at all.  In the US only the very largest
companies have pages in other languages.  Most companies, including the
large ones, have web pages in English only.
