Dear Dr.Stiner
Thank you for your reply and the corrections of my English.
Don't mind, please.
I think you had a lot of pleasant experiences during the American
independence holiday and it made you so tired.
Yes, I did have very many pleasant experiences that weekend. I was a
little more tired than expected, so my reply was later than expected.
I phone my cousin every New Year's day.

I visited some of the Japanese Buddhist temples. They are different
from the Chinese temples.
Japanese Buddhist temples almost small and sad, it's my opinion.
Because someone go to the temple always pray for dead person.
Japanese Buddhist temples are almost always small and sad, in my
opinion. People always go the temples to pray for dead persons.
If they want to pray for luck things,
they go to the JINJA--the God will be there.
Have you ever gone to Shinto shrines? Are they happy places?
I assume in China people use the Buddhist temples to pray for dead
friends and relatives, as well as ask for good luck and to say thank you
for favors received. Is that right? One reason the Chinese temples are
bigger could be because China is a much bigger country. Here in the US,
we build bigger buildings simply because we have the room to do so.
Perhaps that is true in China, too.
In the summer vacation,
I will collect the material of graduation thesis and improve my basis
English.
During summer vacation, I will collect material for my graduation thesis
and improve my basic English.
LaLa, what is the subject of your thesis? What will you write about?
I'm so sorry that many mistakes in my messages make you take time to
correct my English.
LaLa, your English is very good, and you learn fast. In case you
haven't noticed, I have made my later messages to you harder than the
early ones. You seem to handle the change well. By the way, if I make
the level of English too hard, please tell me. I can scale back.
"Scale back" is slang for reduce. So I can make the English easier, if
necessary.
Thank you for all of your messages.
It lets me have more of an interest in American accounting than before.
I'm glad!
Have a nice summer vacation!
I will. You, too.
Sincerely yours,
LaLa
