 Dear Prof. Susan Stiner

> Hello!

We will skip next week because of a university festival.

What is the festival?  How much time off from school is there?

> Good breeging.

It was wonderful scenery!

I want to go on a quiet trip.

I love quiet trips, too.  Where do you go for quiet trips?

Very good!

I found the New York Stock Exchange.

>        NASDAQ is smaller.

Stocks listed on the NYSE often have a larger price per share.  Many NYSE stocks are very old companies.

They earn dividends regularly for many decades.

Shareholders will pay a high price per share because the companies are very reliable.

The NASDAQ often has smaller, younger, riskier companies in it.

Investors do not like to pay a high price for these stocks.

However, my question asked you to look at two different places on the Web that each had the price of one company's stock.

The main reason the stock price could be different is that the price quotes were posted at different times of the same day.

Some sites may not change their quotes very often.

The next lesson looks at the areas where technology may go. It is here: http://www72.homepage.villanova.edu/susan.stiner/cgu/technology02.htm

Halloween is this Thursday.  It is my favorite  holiday.  I love to see children dressed in costume.

If you have not seen my Halloween page, go here: http://www72.homepage.villanova.edu/susan.stiner/cgu/Halloween02.htm

Enjoy your holiday!
