4.B. I could not find Japanese financial information out

  on the web. I think Japan's disclosure is late.

  I meant for you to see what information on the American operations was

  offered at the McDonald's USA site. The financial statements are

  available to everyone. In contrast the Japanese site does not have

  financial information. By law much finnancial information must be made

 public in the US.

 

This week's homework:

 

1. A balance sheet is the first financial statement and

 the statement of a business's financial position.

 There have asset and liability and stockholders' equity

 in a balance sheet.

 There are assets and liabilities and stockholders' equity in a balance

sheet.

 

2. Stockholder' equity is the difference between assets

 and liabilities. It is the name for the owners of a

 corporation.

 

3. Current asset of Aspect Telecommunications has five

 items. There are cash and cash equivalents, Short-term

 investments, Accounts receivable, net, inventories and

 other cucurrent assets.

 

4. Long-term liability has deferred income taxes, other

 liabilities.
