Waka, I agree with you that Lincoln was a great president of the U.S.
We have not had any great presidents lately. We have had some famous
ones, though! Lincoln realized that the country would go to war over
the freeing of slaves. He freed them anyway. I am told he spent many
sleepless nights, worrying whether the country would survive.
Who is the greatest Emperor of Japan? The only name that most Americans
know is that of Emperor Hirihito. Japan has had a long, distinguished
history as a country. It may be hard to pick one name!
