I made my father a present of a train pass case.
August and September is summer vacation. I am going to
go to the summer training camp. I will play tennis.
Where are you going to spend summer vacation? What are
you going to do?
Sincerely yours,
Mayo
Dear Mayo,
Thank you for your letter.
Good work!
The weather is much better here.
This past Saturday we celebrated the Fourth of July, the 222nd
independence day of the United States. I grilled hamburgers and
hot dogs for the family in the back yard. Then we went to see
the local baseball team, the Blue Rocks, play the Danville,
Virginia baseball team.
My garden is doing well. The tomatoes are almost ripe, and the
lettuce is ready.
For the rest of the summer, I will stay in Newark working on
classes for the fall semester. We will go to New Orleans
for one week in August.
Sincerely,
