Dear Mayo,

Thank you for your feedback. I cannot recommend a particular

state for you to visit. All states have something different!

I think your English improved very much! Now you need

practice in speaking!

This coming Thursday is the American Holiday of Thanksgiving. The

holiday has evolved over the centuries. Today, it is a day of eating

turkey, watching football on television, and greeting friends. You

can see more about it.

The celebration comes from the first settlers from England, who came

to America in 1676. You can read the first statement of proclamation.

But it is written in very Old English, and I have to read it slowly

to understand it.

Our weather is late autumn: most of the leaves have fallen

from the trees. It was sunny today, so I worked in the garden

in the late afternoon.

This week we summarize the course.

Next week is sayonara!

Sincerely,
